Amphoe Damnoen Saduak Floating market distinctively presents the relationship between Thai people and the rivers. There are many floating markets in Thailand. The biggest is at Damnoen Sauak in Rajchaburi Province. Since a hundred years ago, the Damnoen Saduak floating market was the main links, Tha Chine river of Samut Sakorn province and Mae Klong river of Samut Songkram province. Everyday, villages transport their agricultural products by canals to the center of trading at Damnoen Sauak. It is a labyrinth of almost two hundreds branched canals. Both sides of the canals are ancient Thai wooden houses and shops of variable products and life-styles.
