1.
Be careful with your bag and valuables while shopping in a crowded
area.
2. Be careful of strangers that come to be friend you and introduce
various offers, and to go to buy goods; in particular jewellery
shops and tailors, because you might be deceived.
3. Before buying, check the goods and compare various prices
maybe you can bargain for a better price.
4. After buying and before leaving the shop, check that the goods
are the same that you bought. Some shops do not exchange or give
refunds, and make sure you keep the receipts.
5. In case that you have the shop send the goods by mail, have
them give you the receipt for sending the goods, so that you can
be certain that there is an actual mailing service. |
|
| |
6. Before buying some kind of goods;
for example, buddha images, antiques and wildlife products, it
may be necessary to obtain permission from certain authorities.
Check that those goods can leave Thailand and/or enter your country.
