 Thailand
is a country of Buddhism. Most people are Buddhists (95%).
Anyway, other religion followers, Muslim (4%), Christian
(1%), Hindu and others, are able to live together peacefully.
There are thousands of temples and the places of worship. |

REGION
Thailand has 76 provinces.
The areas are administratively divided as following.
Changwat = Province
Amphoe = City
King Amphoe = Subcity
Amphoe Muang = Main City
Tambon = District (Communes or group
of villages) Moo Ban = Village
Sukhaphiban = Sanitation districts
Thetsaban = Municipalities
In Bangkok, the Amphur is "Khet" and Tambon
is "Kwaeng". Thai words that are wrote
in English language are sometimes different, but similar.
They are the same meaning, such as Amphur and Amphoe.

LANGUAGE
 The
official language is Thai. Some English and Chinese are
widely understood in Bangkok and the major commercial
areas. Provincial people speak a dialect that is a slight
variation of the central Thai language.
Thai language was created by the King Ramkhamhaeng of
Sukhothai Period. It is a tonal and monosyllabic language
that is belonging to the Tai language family, a subgroup
of the Kadai or Kam-Tai family languages.
