The national flag of Thailand is designed by King Rama
IV. It symbolizes the forces of the Buddhism (white),
the monarchy (Blue), and the Nation (Red). Thai sense
of identity is allied with Theravada Buddhism and the
monarchy.

is located in the heart of South East Asia with Cambodia,
Laos, Myanmar, and Malaysia. The area spreads out over
513,155 square kilometers and stretches some 1,620 kilometers
from north to south and 775 kilometers from east to west.
Thailand has
diverse geographical characteristics. There are valleys,
hills and mountiain ranges in North, plateaux in Northeast,
rivers and fertile basin plains in Central Area, and coastlines
and lush islands in South. |
