originally came from Spain.
Thai people call it by the same name used for Westerners
(Farang). Guava is high in Vitamin C and beta-carotene.
It is the great fruit for snacks in any occasion.
It is eaten either ripe or when still green dipped in a bit of
salt or sugar.
Guava also gives the great taste when conserved.
There are many kinds of guava.
When peeled, they reveal the white or bright red
or pink flesh.
The one with white flesh is the most popular, which
is easily found in Thailand.
